Remembering Alyssa Jo Furman

It has been a roller coaster 24 hours. It was about 4:00 p.m. yesterday that we found out that my niece AJ was about to get new lungs. At 10:30 last night, we were informed that was not meant to be–the lungs were no good.

Early this morning (3/28/18), God called home his newest angel! AJ’s lung transplant was not to be. She is now resting in His precious arms!

Along with continued prayers, we are needing a bit of help to get Alyssa’s body home from St. Paul, MN to Oshkosh, WI. I have set up a fundraiser to help my brother and his family out during this difficult time. Won’t you please consider helping our family out?

As my sister Mare Mare so eloquently put it this morning, “Alyssa can breathe again, but the rest of us, our breath has been taken away!”

Fly free beautiful butterfly…your cocoon is open wide!

Beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable, butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life.  And everyone deserves a little sunshine.
